GMD/W20
series carbon dioxide transmitters |
|
|
These CO2 transmitters use the new silicon based CARBOCAP® sensor.
The simple structure and reference measurement capabilities make
this Single-Beam Dual-Wavelength NDIR sensor extremely stable and
reliable. The measurement accuracy of the sensor is not affected
by dust, water vapor or most chemicals.
The Vaisala GMD/W20 transmitters are easy to install and require
almost no maintenance (the recommended calibration interval is five
years). They are specially designed for Demand Controlled Ventilation
and related applications. The use of the GMD/W20 transmitters results
in considerable savings in installation, operation, maintenance and
recalibration costs as well as ensures the best possible control of
air quality.
- Versatile transmitters
- Duct and wall mount models
- Incorporates the Vaisala CARBOCAP® sensor - the silicon based NDIR
- Excellent long-term stability
- Negligible temperature dependence
- Easy to install
- Five year recommended calibration interval

The GMW20 series transmitters can be used independently or they can
be incorporated into building energy management systems. The wall
mount GMW series transmitters are available in two sizes (GMW21 and
GMW22). The GMD20 is a duct mountable transmitter.
Optional LonMark® approved interface modules are available for digital
communication between the transmitters and a LonWorks network.
An analog temperature option is available for the GMW21. The GMA20T
offers active temperature measurement using a semiconductor sensor
IC.
The measurement module has a voltage output of 0...10 V, corresponding
to a measurement range of 0...50 ºC. The accuracy of the module is
0.5 ºC.
