MultiView is a complete
configuration and data acquistion package for Future Design controllers. Configurable
data save, real time trends, alarm log, digitial values, bargraphs and more!
Up to 64 units can be connected. Complete project setups can be saved or loaded
to eliminate time consuming setup tasks during product or system changes.
The built-in data viewer allows the user to view any data file in a spreadsheet
format without leaving the program. Plotting historical data is as easy as
selecting cells and pressing the "plot" button.
Multiview supports FDC models 2500, 9300, 8300 and 4300 series. Win98, NT4.0, XP and 2000 supported. |

MultiView Software Versions: MultiView has been published since 2001 with versions 1.21, 2.0, 2.02, 2.03, 2.04 and the most recent version 2.05. Windows Operating Systems: MultiView standard version 2.0.5 supports the following Window Operating Systems: 98, NT, 2000 and XP Professional. One of the changes in XP Pro Service Pack 2 changed the way software components are installed and effected the data encryption control used in MultiView. V2.05 corrects this installation problem with SP2. Windows Vista Operating Systems: MultiView Vista version is available,but security is disabled. The MultiView Vista version is made available only for the convenience of those customers who do not have access to computers with Windows XP Professional Operating System. Any download and installation of MultiView for Vista is at the users own risk; Future Design Controls makes no warranty or accepts any responsibility that the MultiView Vista version is in compliance of the published specifications for the standard version of MultiView. Upgrade from Version 2.0 through 2.04 to 2.05: If Multiview version 2.0 through 2.04 was installed on a PC with Windows 98, 2000 or XP Pro prior to Service Pack 2 installation, there is no need to upgrade to V2.05. However, if an upgrade is conducted to take advantage of the new Trend Line & Alarm File changes it is not necessary to uninstall versions 2.0 through 2.04, simply download and run V2.05 installer. The Trend View files have been changed and must be re-recreated as well as the Controller Setup. All data files created with earlier versions 2.0 through 2.04, such as Data Acquisition, Alarm Logs, etc., may be viewed with V2.05. Multiview version 2.04 and V2.05 offer special features for specific OEM customers and includes updates correcting previous bugs. Simulation Mode: MultiView Versions 1.21, 2.0, 2.02, 2.03, 2.04 and 2.05can run in simulation or real time mode. Controllers do not need to be connected to the PC in simulation mode (Demo Mode). Software Registration: MultiView Versions 2.0, 2.02, 2.03, 2.04 and 2.05 require registration. The software will run in simulation mode until a unlock code is entered in the registration dialog. Each time MultiView is started (before unlock code is entered), the user will be prompted to enter a unlock code. The unlock code can be entered at this time or skipped by selecting the "Not Now" button. If registration is skipped, the software will run in the simulation mode only. Unlock codes can be obtained by phone, fax or email from our main office. Please supply us with the unique User ID code listed in the registration dialog box.
